FAQ
How does it work?
Once you have booked your iris art session, we invite you into our studio in the heart of West Yorkshire/Calderdale. We talk you through the process and get started. You will then take a seat and we will get started. We will ask you to open your eye nice and wide so we can see that beautiful colour.
Can you do children’s eyes?
Yes! We do however say the minimum age is 5 years old and they must be able to sit still for around 1 minute.
Can you see medical issues?
No. This experience is for art purposes only, if you have any concerns about your eyes please visit a health professional.
I wear contact lenses, can I still have it done?
Yes! We do however ask that you remove one of your lens’s if possible, (bring some solution) otherwise our specialist camera will pick up your lens on the image. The process takes only a few minutes.
I’m sensitive to light, can it be done without a light?
Unfortunately not, for our photographer to be able to get the high resolution image we need to be able to see all aspects of your eye. The light is bright however it’s only shining for a few moments.
Can you do my dog/cat/donkey?
If your pet will sit still and not blink then why not….. At the moment, no, however we are trying new things all the time so keep checking on our Facebook page, you never know what the future holds!
